Privacy Policy
Before & After GDPR
This a course work for Technology A class. Students need to find a topic they interested in and design a map to document their researches.
My topic is privacy policy. I started from the link between people and the Internet, and first made a broad map about PRIVACY, which includes three parts: individuals, governments, and the Internet. They collect information from each other, and there are risks to each other that threaten the security of personal privacy. Finally, I focused on website privacy policies and collected some data to create a map of the changes in privacy policies of famous websites in the US before and after the enactment of GDPR. This Map shows the time required to read policy, the number of words, and the difficulty in understanding it.
